Thought I would share this

About a year ago, one of the guests on this forum read a post of mine about fishing the mid channel deep shad schools. A few months ago he saw me post on another site and recognized my handle. He contacted me on that forum and asked if we could talk when he went through St. Louis going to a tourney. He wanted something different to go to when he needed a big kicker fish. He stopped by, we talked, and I gave him an assortment of large grubs and heads. He tried the tactic in practice and it worked for him. He wants to visit the lake next summer between tourneys and go out with me. Now a couple of his friends have asked to come also between tourneys. They haven't tried the large grubs yet but saw the pictures he took of his bass. This is what I had been hoping for: people to pass deep fishing knowledge on to. These folks earn thier living by fishing yet they still want to get better. Great to know these folks are at least visiting our site. Now, let's hope they start posting in the fishing sections for the rest of us to learn something.
