Thought this was a lil odd

So I was doing some research about getting my fishing license in NC once I arrive (until the house sells, everything is staying reg'd in CT) because of that I will have to get a non-resident license, no big deal, really. What I found odd is you folks in NC can buy your fishing and hunting license at the grocery store, specifically Food Lion. I have never heard of that, sporting good stores, Walmart, etc, yes, but never a grocery store.
