Stare at the dot in the center of the picture til it times out...... Can you see the photo in color now




An old trick, revisited. It's cause and effect are rooted in the biology of the eye. A simple explanation is that the original image overloads the eyes sensors-an overload generating a chemical imbalance. When the B&W image is shown the imbalance clears. During the clearing phase is when you 'see' the colors. The trick also works if you stare at the false color image for the required time then look quickly to a light colored surface (like a wall). A google search will reveal dozens of images.
