The Senate inteligence committees report was released before the house report I commented on. Because of the furor, the house report may not be released. The Senate report and the house report are very similar with the house report more individual oriented.

The UN has said it will prosecute all high level US gov't officials who authorized the torture and all CIA employees who were involved. I wonder where the country is headed when our own officials hold the security of the country up for review by the rest of the world. Are these officials whistleblowers as some on the site have suggested or are they traitors? Politics has always been a dirty business but this report has hit a new low. The US may now have it's hands tied by world opinion while the hands of our enemies are still free to harm us. The torture started because Michael Hayden, James Clapper and and Dick Cheney with President Bush authoriizing it. Some others Donald Rumsfeld) were also involved in the decision.

The Senate report will greatly affect our world wide intelligence ability as well as putting US citizens at risk. Politics at it's worst!
