    I decided to check on the problems I'm having to see if they are agent orange related. I got a number to call where I could get answers. I spent a few days in John Cochran's VA hospital in 1971. This is what I learned.

    1) I am not in the VA system and there is no record of my being in John Cochran's hospital.
    2) There is no record of my claiming disability in 1969 or the denial of the claim.
    3) There are no medical records at the personnel centers of my military time.
    4) There is no record at the personnel centers of my having served in Vietnam.
    5) THERE IS NO RECORD OF MY HAVING EVER SERVICED IN THE MILITARY.

    I would say I'm going crazy if I weren't staring at my DD214 as I write this. I know the agency had a copy of my records when I started work.
