This 24" walleye was floating in the lake today, choked to death on a roughly 12" gizzard shad. Even walleye like a large meal and it was in 46 degree water. I was surprised that a walleye tried for such a large fish. Just goes to show that our baits just aren't very large compared to what they can eat.
