Well, just got back from the e.r.

    Was installing a new hood over the range. Was hoisting it up onto the screws. Thought I had it on, then it started to fall. Out of instinct, I grabbed for it and a piece of the sheet metal sliced right into the web skin between my index and middle finger on my right hand. Sliced down right past the first knuckle. Bled all over the kitchen floor. I was just gonna tape the 2 fingers together and let it go, but the wife insisted I go to the ER. Wound up with 8 stitches and a Tetanus shot. Hood ( and fishing) will have to wait a few days. Gonna rain tomorrow anyway.
