Had a T on a small lake yesterday. The day started out with the lake calm, the weather overcast, and the bite dead. About an hour into the day, the sky suddenly went black, the rain was coming down so hard you couldn't see more that 5 feet in front of you, and the wind created these unusual rolling waves that were at least 3 footers. After that cleared it was sunny and windy for the rest of the day. For the weigh in on this lake we all beach our boats on a sandy beach type area where the wind was blowing right in on. One guy has a Tracker and as soon as he beaches the waves start coming over his transom and filled his boat completely. It took about ten of us to get a rope and pull his boat way up on the beach. We bailed the boat out and the bilge pump took care of the rest. Then we spun the boat around and managed to push him out bow first and he was able to leave.

On the bright side my partner and I were able to find enough bites to come in second and we had the lunker at 5.77 lbs.
