Go cheaper and do a CZ 75 OR spend the money on a Dan Wesson (fancy CZ) 9mm 1911. (600-1200 smackers)

I really want at least a 4" barrel 1911 in 9mm. I tried a Beretta and the trigger SUCKED, that thing felt liked it had a mile of travel before it took up after firing the Kimber and little Browning 1911-22. Ruined dude after he shot mine and I shot his, felt bad for the young man. That being said it was deadly accurate!

Would really like something steel and Made in America. Can't believe how hard it is to find a GOOD weapon Made in USA , everything seems to be custom or have main parts made over the pond. STI Spartan looked great until I saw the frame was made in the Philippines.

Fishface I pushed it out too 20 then 25 yards today then ended up at 15 yards. I still can't group worth crap with the little 2.7 inch barrel 9mm Kimber at much over 15 yards. The 1911-22A1 Browning is just a joy to shoot. If it had better sights it would be the perfect plinker. That's cheap enough to fix down the road after more stuff comes out for them. I had my targets stacked three 5" targets on top of each other on standard 18X24 board at five feet high. Th lane I was on was shooing down hill pretty good. A few flys but 95% or so were on target with the .22, shot 300 rounds with it today. The 15 I shot with the little Kimber at 25 yards were a joke. I would have been dead or the robber would have got away. At 15 yards different story. Amazing how much ten yards makes. practice practice practice.

I'd like a 1911-9MM that shoots just like the 1911-22A1, prefer something in the same commando or 4-4.5" barrel size. Whitakers list a new Custom Stainless II for 801.00. Right now that is looking like best value for a new one. I've looked at used Springfield 1911-9MM's for more.

Sig brought back the P210 that looks great but :shocked:they are proud of them considering what you can get for the same range.

Speaking of practice. It would be nice if what ever the weapon is looks great AND can handle cheap steel case 115 gram ammo instead of he +P 124gram my Solo wants.
