Why meaningful gun laws won't pass

    I did a little research last night on a couple of groups that back gun control and the NRA. One thing that almost immediately popped into view was the disparity of contributions to DC politicians. The NRA lobbyists plus very rich members of the NRA, contribute almost 1000 time the money as do the gun control people. My view, the politicians aren't going to risk losing the money, so meaningful measures will not pass. I hope I am correct.
