Why you have no tomatoes

Tomatoes, particularly heirloom maters, need lots of calcium to set fruit and prevent blossom end rot. I use pelletized lime ( about 5lbs/$4). Put a handful in the bottom of the hole and put about an inch of potting soil or garden soil over the lime. Plant your tomato over that. The roots will quickly grow down to the lime but will not burn the roots. If you get plenty of tomato blossoms and bees are around, the lime is what you need.
