Why?

    Why is it that parents cant respond to a child's birthday party invite. Our kids' b-day was at the end of Aug. but since it was just after school started, we decided to have their parties after school started. So we decide what to do for them each, and because the school cant release any type of info on the kids in each of our kids' classes, we had to send the invites to school and the teachers sent the invites home. They were sent home about a week ago and out of the 10 invites we sent home, we have only received 1 response. We asked that they rsvp by this coming Tuesday. There are only 7 boys in our son's class including our son, and only one has responded, we invited 3 girls from our daughter's class and not a single response. Why cant parents take the 30 seconds to respond? Ok rant over, still dont feel better but oh well.
