Adolphus Busch IV quits NRA

    One of the NRA's biggest supporters, Adolphus Busch IV has given hs resignation to the NRA. He was one of the NRA's biggest money suppliers and had been a member since childhood. His reason is because he is a backer of background checks and the NRA pres had told him for years that it was also the NRA's goal and the NRA would support the bill when it came up. Busch said he wants to keep weapons out of the hands of the mentally ill and incompetent. So, my question is: was there enough good in the gun control bill that it should have been backed by the NRA? Should the NRA fight every gun bill on principle even if it appears to be a good bill?
