braid with floro leader ?

I see so many people doing it but is it necessary ? The braid obviously is for strong abrasion resistance, the leader for less visibility.However,if your using braid and need the floro or mono WHY not just eliminate the braid period. Do you really need another knot between you and the fish ? Doesn't the fish see the hook under that thought process ? I've caught fish on braid using swim baits and topwater , didn't cause concern to the fish.I've thrown and caught fish on a frog and flipped with 15 pound floro.This is my pet peeve in fishing.I hope this gets the thought process started on a fishing site
