Bumper Crop

    I have 13 heirloom tomato plants. I didn't pick any for 2 days because of the heat. When I picked tomatoes today, I had over a bushel. I've kept some and given away the rest. Some of the Cherokee Purple tomatoes were over 2 lbs. The local store sells heirlooms for $3.99-4.99 depending on variety. I'll have as many in another 2 days. It must be perfect conditions for maters this year.
