Caleb Ammon Can Walk!!!

    I forgot to post this due to all the excitement! On Friday, my MIL was over to the house (Mrs. Nebguy invited her), so I picked Caleb up from daycare on the way home from work and hurried home so my MIL could see him before she left. I handed him off to Mrs. Nebguy as I came through the door so I could put away the diaper bag etc. For the past couple of weeks, he's been standing on his own, but had been afraid to take that first step. This time, Mrs. Nebguy put him down in a kind of standing position and he took off! He walked the 6 or 8 steps out to the baby fence in our front room. Now this wasn't some kind of controlled fall, this was actual walking! Yesterday, we were showing the Sister Missionaries his walking skills, he tripped and bit his lip. He's fine, but it bled pretty good and looked worse than it really was. He cried for a couple of minutes though. We have to work on that :tooth:. :tooth: He's only 10 months old, so he's a little early. That's not what worries me. That wild look in his eye is what worries me. He's mobile, motivated, and he's my son. Not a good combination. :dejection:
