China'a new carrier

China has a new aircraft carrier in the China Sea. They bought the carrier from the Ukraine over a decade ago. The Russians put the deal together but didn't want China to be a threat. The Chinese thought they were buying a fully functional carrier but didn't read the contract close enough. The Russians removed the catapults and the Ukranians removed the engines. Catapult technology is highly guarded and your carrier is useless without one. It took the Chinese a decade to build a workable catapult and replace the engines. This carrier is NOT state of the art and will be used to show the flag and for training. A true Chinese carrier will be afloat in 2015 with one to follow each year for 10 years. They are still behind the US carrier fleet.
