Chinese Cyber War

    When I brought up my computer this morning it was running very slowly. I looked in Task Manager and a process was running I did not know. I copied the process and shutdown. My guru said it could be Chinese. I brought up my computer and he remotely killed the process and appied a fix to stop further intrusion. He said I was probably a random address and not a firm target. Anyway, the world has changed for me. I will be switching soon to a cheap computer to only be used for the Net and having fun. So, one system for fun and another ( with upgraded security ) for my important stuff.

    I posted this so you folks will know it is important to know the applications and process used on your computer.

    Also, stay away from WD Smartware for backups. The software continuously searches your computer for new files and changes to old files for backup. WD can use as much as 80% of your CPU to do this. I just uninstalled the software and my computer is flying.
