I was reading that 40% of the US corn crop will go to the production of ethanol. Many of the world's leading producers of corn and grain are suffering from drought or climate change. Countries that were corn exporters now do not have enough to feed their own people. Considering the increase in food prices ethanol production causes and the problems ethanol causes with almost everything it touches, should we be producing 40% of the crop for ethanol? What do you rural guys think? Any corn farmers on the forum?
