Ever thought about quitting?

Hey guys, my name is Wesley. AC and I go back to GA Southern some years back. I wanted to ask some of you older, more "experienced" fisherman's opinion.

Have you ever decided to or thought about getting out of fishing?

This is something that has been on my mind for some time. I just don't enjoy it like I once did. A little back ground on myself; I grew up hunting and fishing and have done little else since I was very young. I fished all thru college, and was one of the original members of the GA Southern Bass Anglers. I loved it! Skipping class or work or parties to go prefish for tournaments was not that uncommon. I just simply could not get enough. After graduation I did what any Obama Era college grad does and spent the next 24 months hunting jobs and moving. I was very fortunate to meet someone that finally believed in me enough to give me an opportunity and now i have have a great job.
After graduation and the job hunting it just doesn't mean that much to me. I work 3 miles from the Chickamauga Dam and have only been 3 times this year to put it into perspective.

So has anybody got out? Did you regret doing it? Did you end up getting back in? When I say get out I mean boat sold, rod and reels, tackle... everything. I've talked to some friends and they all say the same thing, "you will regret it". But I'm not so sure. I have so much invested that sometimes I feel like I should go just because I've spent so much time and money I should be going. Would love to hear some thoughts. One thing that slows me down is the boat. I could never buy another one for what I have in this one. It is loaded! 04 Stratos, 13 pro xs, 2 Hds 8s, 2 other Lowrance color units, sonic hub, 8" hyd. Jp. Dual axle trailer, leds everywhere, 2 powerpoles. I mean loaded, it would make you sick to know what I paid for it.
