Facebook = BBC

    They're both almost a monopoly.

    Entry into social media is very difficult and Facebook has it mostly locked up. Why ? Because people are not going to gravitate to another social media platform, if they get no response.

    And the reason people post on BBC .............. they get a response. No matter how inane the post may be.

    Once both got started, they continue to grow and feed on themselves. Its very difficult for an upstart to crack into that area.

    Congress got their hands full with attempting to regulate Facebook or any social media platform. Which is what the owner of BBC has done with his over the top censureship.

    But really, as far as Facebook contributing to the results of an election ............. man, if someone is making their voting decision based upon an ad on Facebook, or something they read on social media, I kinda think they don't need to be voting. Maybe we're attacking the wrong end of the problem.
