Going to try painting an old lure

A friend sent me a couple of old jitterbugs made for musky. They work really well for me when I fish the reef by my condo at night. Tomorrow, I plan to sand and seal them. I'll let them sit to set up good and then spray paint them dull black with a rattlecan. 2 paint coats and then a sealer. I'll put on all new hooks and hangers. I tried to paint years ago but have trouble drawing a stick figure. Needless to say, I ruined a couple of lures. Dull black however, I can do. If you think jitterbugs are only for pond bass, think again. After dark, the bass at LOZ love them.
