Heathan holiday

So any of you guys decorate your houses for Halloween, aka Heathen Holiday? Its one of my wife and my favorite holidays to decorate for. Our outside decorating isnt as elaborate as at Christmas, but its a work in progress. Been putting a few things this morning already.

First is a mantel my wife made out of cardboard of all things. Still needs some paint and a few other things to finish it off. On top, she has the makings of a witch's apothecary




Next is the starts of the outside of the house, there are usually some lights that go up along the front of the porch, but the string of lights has passed onto the great Halloween decorating place in the trashcan, so they will be replaced



And finally our ghost family dancing around a cauldron with a spooky tree behind them. At night, the tree has lights on it that will light up. Need to get a small string of lights to tuck under the sticks under the cauldron to act as "fire" and need to figure out a way to make a moon to put above all of it. Ghosts are just made up of a sheet, some news paper for the head in a plastic grocery bag and a piece of pvc with a zip tie holding everything to the pvc pipe.



There is more to come in the near future, such as a large spider web and spider on the porch, we actually have a tiny black Halloween tree that will be decorated and a few other things in and around the house.
