Hit the river again today

Went out this morning for a while. 36 degrees with a 10 mph north wind was chilly. Water was 53 degrees when I put in. Fished the main river channel targeting laydowns and chunk rock with a spinnerbait. That produced a bunch of nice largemouth up to about 16". Hit a couple of gravel bars where a couple of small washouts come in. A spinnerbait and a rattletrap was producing a bunch of smallies. Several of the smallies were pushing 17". Overall it was one of the best days I've had out there in a while. :rock_on: Sure would have been nice to find these fish for the online tourney.:doh:
