House releases Bengazi Report

The Republican led congressional committee on Bengazi found there were no intelligence shortcomings. It absolved all government officials of wrongdoing-----including Hillary Clinton. Not what you wanted to hear but force protection is really difficult in third world countries. The embassy and staff are small and the Marine details mostly ceremonial. Many countries limit the number of staff an embassy may have in country. The state dept. gives bonus and extra time for retirement to staff serving abroad because of the danger. It happened in Bengazi but it could have happened in London or Paris just as easily.
