How much do you spend on rods and reels ?

    1 of my reels chit the bed so I ordered the 39.99 special for a BPS reel. It's smooth and so far I love it. I can't believe the prices on some these days. So, how much smoother is a 200 dollar and up reel ? Same with the rods. I get the cheap rod as long as it has a sensitivity of 7. What makes the big money rods any better ?Always wanted a Kistler Helium but can't afford it. Anyone have one and how do you like it ?
