I have a sore thumb!

The bass were biting today guys! Every cast, to every other cast...problem being, all 11-15 inch bass! Only 1 on a jig n craw. Switched to 7.5 culprit and they just bit off the tails! Spinnerbait, buzzbait, chatterbait...all caught bass, but the Mann's minus one was the ticket. As soon as it hit the water, BANG! BOOM! WHAM! I caught a dark green football of a bass, that fish would of have been easy to 3 or 3.5lbs, but was only 15.5 freaking inches long! Already had laid her eggs too! Her tail was much bigger than a normal bass her size! Mouth too! Like I said, one short FAT Fish! I was thinking of taking a picture and she hit the side of the boat and PLOP! Back in the water she went! According to the chart, a 15.5 is 2.02lbs fish is going to help me any. I switched to a LC RC 2.5 and a larger stick bait, but only meant more and bigger hooks to pull out of the small bass. I missed 2 big blow up on a top water popper, but as far as big fish, the bit wasn't there...I am thinking, looking at my last fish...a lot of them have sore mouths and not biting! My big fear, many 3-7lbs bass went home to be clean! :head_on_wall: Just the thought of it makes me :sick: ! But after 50+ bass today, I was done. My thumb is ripped up good! I thought about going back out at 6pm, for the late biters...but the back says...are you FREAKING NUTS! :thinking: waitaminute...I'm :thinking: Maybe, but maybe tomorrow a 6am for a early bite might be a better idea?
