Is the NFL getting too complicated ?

Are we observing rules that complicate the correct calls and pushing replay to a much broader use in the near future ?EVERY team gets screwed by either a bad call or improper interpretation of a rule every game.As example, I'm a football fan and have a few teams I watch and cheer for. My top team is the Patriots so I'll talk about them/ Yes, they've benefited from bad calls. They lose to the jets on a controversial penalty on the final play that was never called against the jets for doing the same thing. This week they lose on the final play when a flag is thrown and then picked up as a no call. Some folks say it 's a penalty , some say it isn't. Today (I'm in Florida )I'm watching some sport shows and their still talking about that play! ESPN has a guy who does the breakdown in slowmo and it's timed to determine that without the interference Gronk has a CHANCE at a play.Jeff Fischer who is on the rules committee, says they never should of picked up the flag, it was a penalty.Both calls will be talked about over the off season and changed.NO sour grapes here, but, do you think they've gotten so carried away with the rules that they can't honestly be interpreted in a split second any more ?The game was so much more enjoyable prior to excessive celebrations and the penalties they result in, or diving out of bounds but touching the pylon with the ball and being awarded with a touchdown. Or " breaking the plane" and then losing possession but being rewarded with a touchdown! Defensively is even worse, helmut to helmut leads to fines and suspensions but the ballcarrier lowers his head to run . You can only tackle from above the knees to below the shoulders. And forget anything close on the quarterback yes, Brady included. That's all about the money fdished out and protecting your investment.The game today comes down to should I or shouldn't I call a penalty. Yes, you can call a penalty on every play. The ending of the last game will be flagged the next 100 times!
