Jerkbait fish today

    Got out since the weather cooperated today. Nothing big, but not bad for 47 degree water. They wanted nothing to do with any baits other than the Thunderstick. Funny thing was I couldn't find a single smallmouth.

    Had a lot of whites hit at the side of the boat. Only hooked one.

    Not sure what this carp was thinking. Yes, it was hooked in the mouth :doh:

    Hard to see in this pic, but there were about 30 turkeys there on the shoreline. Saw lots of them today.

    Don't expect the weather to hold up much longer. Might be the last trip out for the old girl.
