joe wheeler...float it lures

I will be going down to al. To fish on Joe wheeler lake and fish with a good friend that lives on the lake. Will be at rogersville al. Going down on Nov. 17th until 22th. And yes I will be trying our floaters on the lake. But I hear the bass are hitting shad and are roaming . Might use spinnerbaits and topwater. Any help would be helpful. Will be down near end of lake.
We will put boat in at state park ramp. I will post pic after.
