Makes Sense

A black guy I used to work with called today looking for some technical help. After we solved his problem we got to talking and he said his daughter had gotten big into politics in college. I told him as long as she was on the right side that was good. So we debated which was the right side for awhile (he's a registered Repub, who I know voted for o). Then I told him I would never believe he would be racist. He asked how he's racist since Obama is as much white as he is black. I agreed and said the media calls him black and that is why most black folk voted for him.

Then for the best line he said, "I can't be racist. I've voted in every election since I've been old enough to vote, and every time before 2008, I voted for a white guy". :Rolling:


He really is a good guy and does have social conservative values. Kids are well disciplined, both received academic scholarships, his wife and him both have good jobs and been with the same employer for 30+ years. I gave him a hard time, but the black vote doesn't really bother me (I do understand it to a point, even though 2008 should have been enough). It's the white guilt vote that irks me to no end
