Just wanted to fill you guys in on everything that went on at Kentucky Lake. It was an old draw format tourney and I was a non boater all three days. This tournament was by far the toughest conditions I have ever fished in. I guess the lake had an unusually hot summer and then we were it with a cold front the week of the tourney. I had ice on the boat every morning when I woke up, but was in shorts and my jersey by lunch. Out of 389 anglers, roughly 80 people did not weight in any fish. The winning weight for three days was only 33 lbs.

I was very fortunate to carry on a conversation with Wilson Frazier and Earl Bentz. Both are great people. Wilson will talk your ear off if you let him. I also was able to learn a lot during this tourney, I learned how to throw new baits and how to read my sonar better when finding fish. I was able to learn which fish you are more likley to catch on your sonar and which fish you are unable to catch. All in all, it was very disappointing for me, but I did learn new things. No time to cry about it, my 2011 season starts next month. :Cool_thumbs_up:
