Just some facts about Washington, DC. politicians and military service. I'll let you folks think and respond to the ramifications you've seen in the last 40 years.

We have gone 26 years since a President has been a military veteran.

Forty years ago veterans represented: Senate= 81%, House= 75%
Today veterans represent: Senate- 20%, House= 19%

1992 was the first year in the country's history that veterans represented less than 50% of the Senate and House.
