Randleman Lake

I am not running down the New Randleman Lake so don't get me wrong. I am just making a statement. Well that is that. I just give up. I have gone to the new Randleman lake probably 7-8 times. I guess I averaged around 20 fish each time. That isn't much different than what I use to do at Hyco Res. years ago. At Randleman Lake I never got a fish over 5# but I saw the 10# 7oz bass brought in couple Wenesdays ago. There are still some good fishing on the lake but not the numbers as before from what i heard people say. One thing I don't think I'll be doing again to often and that is getting over there and setting in line at the gate to try being the first 100 boats on the lake. I'll just go and if I get on the waterfirst thing good and if not I will go home or go somewhere else. It is only 20 mins away and less than 30 miles from the house to the gate. I have only one area I have been catching fish and i'll check out other areas when the lake authority gets the shallow water bouy situation controled. The $15.00 launch fee doesn't bother me. I guess I spend that in gas for the truck pulling the boat to the lakes like High Rock, Jordan, Badin, and for sure Buggs Island.
