Random Man Posed as Chef, Cooked Disgusting Food on Five Network Morning Shows

Talk about a prank. According to Deadspin, during the holiday season chef Keith Guerke went on five network morning shows in Wisconsin and Illinois to promote his new cookbook and show viewers at home recipes for leftovers. The only problem: chef Keith Guerke doesn't actually exist and he purposely made morning show hosts eat some seriously disgusting concoctions.

Apparently no one properly vetted Guerke, whose real name is Nick Prueher, because he successfully pranked five network television shows. Prueher's seemingly inedible creations included a ham, pie, and gravy smoothie, as well as a mashed potato ice cream cone with corn sprinkles. The brave hosts fearlessly dug in after Guerke "cooked" for them and not one of them seemed the wiser. The food used for all of the segments was day-old KFC.

Nick Prueher, along with Joe Pickett, founded the Found Footage Festival, which highlights funny VHS videos found at garage sales, thrift stores, and other odd places. The duo was responsible for the cooking segment prank, and our chefs hats go off to them for pulling it off. We just can't believe the truth hasn't been discovered until now!
