    Ac...according to Wilson Frazier, every Lowrance (sure HB does as well) have a built in flasher. The most right part of the screen where the little line goes up and down with real time depth change is the flasher part....it just paints a picture of what you just passed by turning pixels off to create a portrait. I dod not know this until I got his dvd's and spent a few hours one on one with him talking about this stuff. He worked at Lowrance for over 30 yrs so I figure he is 1000 times smarter than I am when it comes to these electronic gizmos :cheers:
