Retirement thoughts

    I had a lot of thought and mirror looking while in the nursing home. I have gone from surgury to recovery 5 times in 5 years. No time for exercise and muscle rebuild before the next surgury. When I retired, I looked like Tarzan. Now I look like Jackie Gleason. I realized I'm no longer "the GUY". Nothing I did wrong or could have done differently. The agency didn't tell me my warranty was about to expire 2 months into retirement.
    NOW, for the rest of you approaching retirement. Work out and stay in shape if you want to enjoy your retirement.. Your health is worth more than you now view it. I had no control over my bad health but you can do better. Don't wait till retirement to start your program. Do it NOW!! You don't want your retirement to be like mine. All I can do is give the message and hope you believe it.
