#24 in the polls and #1 in the defensive rankings. They are 16-2 with the two loses by 8 points combined to undefeated Wisconsin and Wichata State. They will be 20-2 or 22-2 before they play #16 Massachusetts or Virginia Commonwealth. Bob Knight watched a game and was interviewed on local radio. He said " crap, this defense is freaking great". Best defensive team he has seen in a long time. Defense was put in place by Rick Majerus and spun up by Jim Crews. Fordham supposedly has 2 of the best guards in the country that average 21 and 19 points a game. Fordham had 16 points at halftime and if St. Louis had not cleared it's bench early, may not have scored over 40 points.
