Thumb rings

    Before passing judgment, I decided to see what the meaning behind men wearing thumb rings is. I never found anything about future retirement plans, but Google did offer up this little nugget.

    Sexual Orientation
    Another peculiar thumb ring symbolism is the determination of the wearer's sexual orientation. There is a queer belief in some parts of the world, that a thumb ring is worn only by homosexuals, i.e., wearing a thumb ring means the wearer is in a same sex relationship.

    Now before thumb ring wearers or homosexuals (like there is a difference) gets upset, I'm not saying there is anything wrong with that, just quoting Google :doh:
