Well, day of wait at Smith, AL

    The forecast got them, though I think it was doable today. We are off the water in the Southern Open at Smith Lake. The weather forecast was strong winds, rain, thunderstorms (which all seems to be the same to me) and possible torndic activity. They cancelled day one for safety and thus we have a day to do something else.

    I think I'll head to see a dealer or two and buzz back in for the evening restup to go tomorrow. Which from the forecast I saw last night might actually be worse than today? A one day event could be on the horizon.

    We maybe shouldn't have fished though I thought it was acceptable conditions. In either case they made a call.
