We're goin' to Vegas!!!!

When I taught at Georgia Southern, I tutored the men's basketball team - 5 nights a week, all year long, for 5 years - all volunteer, no pay. Well, unless you count the 2 trips to Duke, the trip to Florida State, the tournament in Daytona, the trip to Charlotte...and the endless love and gratitude from a bunch of 20-something year old players (mostly black kids who were born in the 'hood and trying to use basketball and the degree they earned to get out; as you might guess, I have an interesting mix of folks as Facebook friends).

Anyhow, one of my "kids" is getting married in Vegas in June, and we are invited. Andrew and I are SO going on that trip! Neither of us has been to Vegas before. We HAVE been to another wedding of one of the guys in Florida; we were the only white folks there - the wedding ceremony was quite different than what I'm accustomed to. But I digress...
