Who are behind the Super PACs?

There is a commercial that is very negative about a Missouri politician. I found it hard to believe what was being said. A PAC was listed at the end of the commercial. I spent over an hour trying to track down the PAC that made the ad. It turned out to be one (1) very, very, wealthy individual. One person can form a PAC and hide behind it. The person in question recently moved to the state and is trying to put his stamp on everything. I think there is too many groups and individuals hiding behind the PACs. I wish they would all go away.
