who says you cant trick or treat in the country

Attended the coolest Halloween party to date. We have been invited for years, but the kids have always had "something else" to do for Halloween. We live in the country and the neighbors down the road have a Halloween party every year. We decided to attend this year and it was amazing. they had a campfire going to roast your own hotdogs as you please. they provided everything except hotdogs. there was chili and chips and dips and hot chocolate, soda, tea, etc. It is a hobby farm so they used some of their round bails to make a "hay maze" for the kids with a slide and all sorts of fun. then at 630 we all boarded the flatbed trailer and went "trick or treating". they have previously arranged with all the neighbors to stop and the kids get treats. so we rode the hayride down the country roads stopping at every surrounding house and getting good ol southern hospitality for the kids. one home had fireworks they were lighting for the kids to enjoy.

A country boy myself, I may never go back into town for trick or treating again!!
