WikiLeaks

I have searched through some of the available WikiLeaks to see if there were "secrets" that would hurt the US. I have found a lot of embarrassing cables but nothing to warrant killing Assange. It is very possible they are fearful of something yet to be released. A number of our allies who were backing us against WikiLeaks have reconsidered. They think it is our government's fault for not being able to secure the information. It was available to several hundred thousand people in our government. In DC, if more than 5 people know something, it is no longer a secret.
Maybe I am missing something about Assange's extredition to Sweden. They have not yet charged him with anything so how can they exredite him? Laws must be different in Europe.
Five major newspapers worldwide are helping WikiLeaks with what to release, redacting names, and vetting the information. Papers such as the London Times, Guardian, New York Times, Le Monde, and a Spanish paper, are the major players along with WikiLeaks. Something is going on about the stolen data. I think there is a shoe about to drop soon. Don't know what info they have but our government sure is trying to prevent it's release. Cables are like personal conversatons within an agency or department. The serious secrets are only sent in encrypted "dispatches". WikiLeaks doesn't appear to have that material.

This is all I know so we will wait for further releases.
