They are pulling water heavily through Bagnell Dam on LOZ. When this happens the bass set up on the points in about 25-30 ft. I used one of Joey Watts' football head jigs. 3/4 oz. in a whiskey color and a pumpkin trailer. I fished it on one of the Loomis rods. I started at 830 and finished at 1130. 23 keepers on the jig with 6 of them around 5 lbs. I used 3 tactics with the jig. The drag, stroking, and vertical jigging. Sometimes I would cast the jig and drag. At the end of tthe retrieve I would vertical jig it a couple of times. Same way at the end of stroking the jig. 6 of the bass came on the vertical jig at the end of the retrieve. Something to remember if you tourney fish; give the bass one more chance to bite the jig at the end of your retrieve.
