Dang! Might be a one two punch...

Number One to the Gulf Coast, and Number Two up the East Coast?

Admittedly the tracks are my projections, not the National Weather Services projection (they haven't got one yet), so... don't panic yet. But I like to look ahead, You know, in case I need to load the Lazy Boy (my trollin' motor powered bass fishin' pedal boat) with my stuff, and de-vacuate the place. I don't mind livin' on, or near the bayou, but I've lived "in" the bayou all I care to. Time will tell. That other little brown line up there in Texas, and up in to Oklahoma, is me leaving Houston if it comes this way.

By the way, today is August 18th. Hurricane Alicia wiped out my home here in Houston on this date in 1983 with 3.5 feet of water in my house. Over the years I would rebuild that home six times due to tropical storms, and hurricanes, before I finally tore it down after tropical storm Allison on the 4th of June, 2001. Allison dumped 40 inches of rain in the 70+/- miles long Greens Bayou water shed (that ran 35 feet out my backdoor), that flowed through my living room 13 feet deep.
