Flooding

Just got back from a drive down to the Missouri river here in Plattsmouth to check out the flooding. I grew up on that river bottom so I'm use to seeing flood water. They had built the road up so it would be higher then the last high flood stag but it's coming over the new road away. That is the reason I now live on one of the hist places in the town. I don't ever want to deal with cleaning up after another flood. What makes this a bad place for floods is this is where the Platte river flows into the Missouri river so when both rivers are high you get the perfect flood.
