New sleeves for my barrels

I fitted new barrel sleeves to my Casson 1911 .45. Heated the barrel slightly and cooled the sleeve to pull it from the barrel. Reversed the process to replace it. The sleeves last about 10k rounds for normal shooting but only 3k for competition shooting. I sold these weapons three years ago after owning them since 1976. Almost immediately after selling them, I regretted it. The new owner died and told his wife to offer them back to me.
