Redocorating ALMOST done!!! Please read...

So, let me fill you in...
I have recently been searching for ways to monetize the site. Not planning for anybody to become rich, but it would be nice if it would pay for itself. I've put a couple of Google ads up. They are not really intrusive, I hope, but $ is earned just with the pages loading with the ads on there.

Also, please note: On the right side of the main forum page, under the most recent post section, there are 2 new sections: sponsors and affiliates (still trying to get Calvin's banner to fit in that space - don't worry, I have Kevin fixing everything I've messed up). Please do visit our sponsors as often as you can, let them know you appreciate them, and doggone it...buy something from those nice folks!

We are also starting to affiliate with companies that might be of interest to some of you. Under Armour is currently offering a 10% discount to current and past military and Bass Tackle Warehouse is offering free shipping with a purchase of $50. I KNOW it's not that difficult for you to spend $50 on fishing junk. We'll be adding more affiliates in the upcoming days. If you are going to do any Christmas shopping with any of our affiliates anyway, we'd certainly appreciate it if you would click on the link here, which will take you to their site. Any buying you do with the affiliates through the link on this site helps us pay for maintaining it.

Finally, I have asked Kevin to put up a "buy me a cup of coffee" widget, so when you are feeling extraordinarily generous (or drunk), you can drop a dollar or two in. I did say "buy me a cup of coffee"; I figured that "please score me some fill-in-the-blank-with-a-substance-of-choice" wouldn't be appropriate. :tooth::tooth::tooth:
