Safety?????

Hunt brought up a good point in another thread about mothers smoking years ago.
Remember when most of us were kids.

-I rode in the back seat with my head poked up through the bucket seats in the front just to hear the conversation (but the cars were built like tanks).

-I'm sure I sat on my Momma's lap riding down the road (but everyone drove like they had sense)

-We use to ride in the back of pick up trucks (but we knew to sit down and act right).

-I never wore a life jacket on a boat ever. (but we didn't fish at the dam when the gates were open)

-I never looked like robocop just to ride a bicycle.(but parents knew that scrapes happen and didn't sue over everything)

-Most cars didn't even have seat belts (back to the tank thing).

I'm sure I did other stuff that parents would be locked up for now, but are we better off with all the safety laws or are people just stupid
